Which Spacing to Pick
- 4 to 6 mm. Narrow lines for small handwriting and long notes.
- 7 and 8 mm. Everyday writing. US college ruled paper is 9/32 in, about 7.1 mm, so 7 mm comes close without being identical.
- 9 and 10 mm. Wide lines. US wide ruled is 11/32 in, about 8.7 mm, between the 8 and 9 mm files.
- 11 and 12 mm. Large spacing for early writers and for handwriting practice.
What Is on the Sheet
Gray lines 0.4 pt wide run across the page inside a 0.5 in (12.7 mm) margin. A red vertical line marks the left margin 28 mm from the edge of the paper.
