Print a Poster on 4 Pages
Spread one picture over four sheets in a 2 by 2 grid. On A4 the poster grows to 37.8 x 55.2 cm, a little smaller than an A2 sheet; on Letter to 39 x 51.7 cm. Two cuts and two seams put it together.

How It Works
Choose a picture
A photo or any JPEG, PNG or WebP image. The bigger the picture, the sharper the poster.
Set the grid
Pick how many sheets go across and down. The preview shows each sheet and the final size in centimeters and inches.
Print and assemble
Create the PDF and print it at 100 percent scale. Sheets that would stay empty are left out.
When a 2x2 Poster Is Enough
Four sheets make a poster you can read across a room: a school project, a map, a sign for an event or a family photo for a party. It needs only one vertical and one horizontal seam, so it is quick to put together and the joins are easy to hide.
A picture of about 3,260 pixels on its long side prints at 150 dots per inch on 2x2 A4, a level that looks sharp at arm's length. Most phone photos have more than that.
| Overlap | A4 | Letter |
|---|---|---|
| None | 38.8 x 56.2 | 40 x 52.7 |
| 5 mm | 38.3 x 55.7 | 39.5 x 52.2 |
| 10 mm | 37.8 x 55.2 | 39 x 51.7 |
Calculated by this tool: 8 mm margin on every sheet, 10 mm overlap. The picture keeps its proportions, so one side usually comes out shorter.
