How It Works
Choose a photo
A front-facing photo against a plain light wall, taken by someone else from a few steps away. JPEG, PNG or WebP.
Fit the head
Choose the size, then drag the photo and use Zoom. Where the official head size is known, keep the head between the two ovals.
Print at 100 percent
Create the PDF and print it at Actual size on photo paper. Measure one photo with a ruler before you cut.
What the Visa Centers Ask For
- One color photo taken in the last 6 months.
- 48 x 33 mm, head 28 to 33 mm high and 15 to 22 mm wide, the whole head and both ears visible, neutral expression, eyes open, lips closed.
- White or nearly white background with no frame.
- Glasses are allowed, except thick-rimmed, tinted or glare glasses.
- Glossy photo paper; matte or plain paper is not accepted.
